Pro-Stride is a biologic that uses the horse's own blood to produce a concentrated solution of cells, platelets, growth factors and anti-inflammatory proteins.

In a single injection therapy, the horse's own blood is concentrated through centrifugation and injected into the selected joint. Naturally occurring inhibitors (anti-inflammatory proteins) are highly concentrated within Pro-Stride and work to block cytokines that begin the process of cartilage breakdown. These naturally occurring inhibitors include IL-1ra, sIL-1R and sTNF-R. Pro-Stride works to decrease joint inflammation and pain, slow cartilage degradation and improve joint function.
